The Desert

Yes, I am a city girl, born and raised in Chicago, but I've fallen in love with living in the desert, and I do live in the desert. But, what I have come to appreciate, is that it is beautiful here. 

You talk about taking time to smell the roses. Well, I've roses growing on the sun porch patio. 

I can smell roses with my morning coffee.

But right on the other side of the wall is the real desert. Let's see if you can find the rabbit. 

But yes, there is desert right outside the door.
